Yes, I'm alive
Oct. 19th, 2011 08:20 pmJust haven't really been in a bloggy mood lately other than covering theatre stuff.
Sunday, went to RennFest with
ladybranwen and
10littlebullets and spent WAY TOO MUCH on a really awesome hat. As in, I needed headgear that didn't look ridiculous with my hair (lots of stuff just looks really odd with short hair), and made the mistake of trying on the awesome hat so that I couldn't just leave it behind. So much for saving my spending money for London.
Saturday, saw the LM tour again - and liked it much better on the whole this time around. I think knowing what to expect helped, and it also helped that Richard Todd Adams was on as Valjean and was excellent. Metro had us scrambling for time, but we made it, so it all worked out. Went to dinner after with
mmejavert and betweenfourwalls and were very nerdy.
Work has been it's usual self.
What do I need to catch up on blogging? Somehow I never actually did detailed comments on the Signature rep, I need to cover LM, and I've got two more shows coming up - tomorrow night is first preview of Constellation's production of Arms and the Man, and Saturday we're seeing Matty's new production of Nevermore.
Christ, I've just counted - with what is currently scheduled, excluding London, I'll have had 73 performances for the year. Will probably hit 80, minimum, with London. I know we've been busy, but damn!
