I'm too old for this
Aug. 6th, 2011 09:53 pmI think I'm going to bed soon. As in, in the next fifteen minutes.
Just got back from Pittsburgh CLO's production of Jesus Christ Superstar. More on that tomorrow; for now, let's just say I'll do a lot of things for my LM boys (and Doug Kreeger was a fantastic Jesus, and it was nice to see him again), but the 4 hours back in rain where "intermittent showers" meant "it varies every 30 seconds" sucked. I did more hydroplaning today than I recall ever doing before in my life. And this last bit, after dark, has me completely wiped.
Remember that crazy-ass weekend when I stayed for two shows in NY then drove to Pittsburgh the next day? Yeah, it wasn't raining, but I still have no idea how I did that. I'm officially old and funless, yo.
(Ok, quick verdict on JCSS: let's just say that we spent the whole ride home talking about Who's Your Baghdaddy instead of the show we had just seen. Doug was great, really; the production itself was based too heavily on the original film for my taste.)
