Can I please get some sleep?

So, on Sunday morning, I discovered that my air conditioner had a leak. Came back Sunday night and maintenance had fixed the leak and placed a dehumidifier in the room to help dry the carpet out. Unfortunately, said dehumidifier spits out hot dry air, so it has been hellishly awful in my room the past two nights. Tonight, I turned the thing off at 8 pm so the air conditioning would have a chance to cool the place down a bit, but it's still kind of stuffy. Not making for great sleeping conditions.

Also not making for great computer conditions, as I usually use my desk in my room, and I'm trying to multitask. Hopefully in the next few days I'll get caught up with a few things (translations, theatre catch-up, etc.). I do have all weekend free, pretty much, and I intend to put that to use with fic revisions and some non-fiction article revisions to get up on my own website (the Napoleonic Code one and some other stuff - LM research kind of stuff).

And I only have three episodes left of Being Human! Aaaaagh! (I got my roommates addicted. We may be moving on to a rewatch of The Wire after that.)

At least tonight, I made cake. And opened a bottle of wine. The wine is good; the cake is better. I am awesome :) Or at least my roommmate who doesn't cook thinks I'm awesome, as I make baked goods and share them. Mmmm, blueberry cake.
