Very shallow comment re: Egypt

Wonder if this is a vague reflection of how 1848 felt. Tunisia, Egypt possibly on the brink of toppling (up the army at this point, it sounds like), demos in Sudan. Obviously it's much more distant and academic as an American when you consider my POV for '48 is really rather British.

Let us hope that if Mubarak steps down, there's no Lafayette able to throw everything away.
