Rather sparse this year in comparison, not only because I got laid off six months ago (I actually only missed Playboy of the Western World and a couple things in NY) but also because there were going to be fewer NY trips anyway in an attempt at getting to London. Only 54 shows, which still averages more than one a week, and quite frankly, there was NOTHING going on over the summer that would have bumped that number up at all. Still, thank god for my three subscriptions (I only subscribe to DC theatre companies with names beginning with S *g*), otherwise I would have completely lost my sanity long before September came around. (and really, Grey Gardens came at the perfect time - I'd been horrendously depressed, and worried about having to move home, and there's Little Edie being completely batshit in the same situation and this somehow makes me feel infinitely better.)

And really, I still intend to talk about Twelfth Night at some point, because it was hilarious and gorgeous and had canon!slash! Just, uhm, not now, because I'm still trying to catch up from Yuletide.
