List the last 10 things you saw at the theatre in order: (it's sad when you pull out the calendar for this, isn't it? Also, I'm leaving out the readings I didn't pay for.)
1. Three Generations of Broadway (Kennedy Center)
2. The Way of the World (Shakespeare)
3. The Road to Mecca (Studio)
4. Ace (Signature)
5. Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare)
6. Les Mis (Wolf Trap)
7. Rooms (MetroStage)
8. Spamalot (Broadway)
9. Rent (Broadway)
10. West Side Story (Pittsburgh CLO)

Who was the best performer in number one?
Maxie!!!! (actually, no, I'd have to say it was Lisa Brescia, because she and Jenn Colella kicked much ass in the Side Show section, but I like Violet better than Daisy, so she gets the nod.)

Why did you go to see number two?
I have a subscription, I don't see enough Restoration comedy, and who can turn down $20 for Chris Innvar in a frightening wig? (ok, so it was way better than the advertising, but Andrew Long got the really good wig. Of course, he's Andrew Long.)

Can you remember a line/lyric from number three that you liked?
No, but I loved the play for the acting and the relationships and the beauty, not for wittiness in the script.

What would you give number four out of ten?
5 - It was an ok way to spend an evening, and I paid less than full price, though I would have felt better had it been a much better show and I paid less. But Emily Skinner is awesome, it was nice to see Jill Paice, and Matthew Scott (Courier Boy 2.0) is always adorable. Wish there had been more of George Dvorsky and Tracy Olivera, though. And a much better script.

Was there someone hot in number five?
Oh hello, Aubrey. Not so on with the facial hair and bleach job, but it doesn't entirely matter because I still madly fancy you. Finn Wittrock may have been very LeatherPantsDraco!Hamlet as Romeo, but he wasn't bad looking, either :)

What was number six about?
Marius bends over the barricade. A lot. Directly in front of me. And then is gorgeously bitter and angsty.

Who was your favorite actor in number seven?
Doug Kreeger! And I mean it this time. Why couldn't this have been number 2, explaining why I went? Not that Natascia isn't awesome and worth seeing for herself, but Doug as an agoraphobic drunk Scotsman who gets roped into punk rock because he has a crush on a girl - of course I went, and then I just wanted to give Ian hugs even though I don't think he'd much enjoy being touched by someone other than Monica.

What was your favourite bit in number eight?
I'm going to go with the, uhm, dance break in You Won't Succeed on Broadway. Now, if it had been the tour, totally the cave. Because whoever on tour was doing the bunny is so much better. The Broadway bunny neither loves the mushroom enough or scritches his back frequently and adorably. But yeah, I die every time I see Robert Petkoff do that part of You Won't Succeed on Broadway.

Would you see number nine again?
That production? No. That show? I really have no idea. Will Chase? Hell yeah.

What was the worst thing about number ten?
I hate Jerome Robbins' choreography and think he's a dickwad to insist that the show can never be done without his stupid-ass Somewhere ballet.

Which was best?
Oh please, you know me. LM at Wolf Trap.

Which was worst?
Ace. And that being the worst just goes to show I don't see many crap shows. I don't see many mediocre shows.

Did any make you cry?
Oh, Ali, cutest Maria ever, you turn me into such a sap.

Did any make you laugh?
Two comedies, fight boy humping a wine cask (that would be as a servant at the beginning of R&J), and Doug and Natascia trying to be Glaswegian - what do you think?

Which roles would you like to play in any of them?
I don't play; I watch.

Which one did you have best seats for?
Let's just say that at LM, I'm not entirely certain what all happened on the barricade because a particular cast member was directly in front of my FRONT ROW SEAT the whole time. And it made for a very lovely view.

(and [livejournal.com profile] ladybranwen's list looks exactly like mine unless she includes the readings.)
