Heat sucks

Nearly passed out on the metro this morning :( Hot, crowded, standing, slow moving meaning really rocky (I totally get what POB means about ships rolling their masts out in the doldrums) - got to Gallery Place and just had this sudden wave of nausea and had to get off. Tried to get out of the station but total backup of people, ended up collapsing on a bench, trying to cool myself off with my lunch. (tupperware full of rice actually makes a decent cold pack) A woman was nice enough to give me a cold bottle of water - I took one sip and my fingers and legs started tingling, so bad I could barely grasp the bottle. Managed to dig a strawberry out of my lunch bag, which is not easy to do when it feels like your fingers are full of pins, and get some sugar into me. Which was probably the real problem as after two bites, the pins were gone and I could see again.

Seems I manage to do this to myself once per summer - and at least I wasn't late to work this time.
